1. Scope
This notice applies to US residents only to the extent a state comprehensive privacy law applies to Bayes Pharma’s processing. It does not create rights where a law exempts the organization, the processing, the data, or a business-to-business or employment context.
2. Categories of personal information
| Category | Examples | Sources |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email, account/user ID, IP address and online identifiers | You, your organization, automatically from the Services |
| Professional information | Employer, title, team, role and business-contact information | You, your organization, lawful business sources |
| Internet or electronic activity | Page/module interactions, log data, device/browser details and diagnostics | Automatically from the Services |
| Commercial/account information | Subscription, pilot, support, organization and account-administration details | You, customer administrators, our business systems |
| Communications | Support messages, feedback, meeting or inquiry details | You and your organization |
| Sensitive information, if expressly authorized | Only data categories permitted by the applicable customer agreement and workspace configuration | Customer organizations and authorized users |
3. Purposes, retention and disclosures
We use personal information to provide and secure the Services, administer accounts and organizations, respond to inquiries and support, improve reliability, communicate about the Services, prevent misuse and comply with law. Retention depends on the purpose, contract, security and audit needs, customer instructions and legal obligations.
We may disclose information to service providers/contractors, a customer organization responsible for an account, professional advisers, transaction counterparties where legally appropriate, and government or other parties where required or necessary to protect rights and security. Customer Content is handled according to the applicable customer agreement and DPA.
4. Sale, sharing and targeted advertising
Bayes Pharma does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about individuals for advertising.
Optional public-site analytics may involve disclosures to an analytics provider. Because some state laws can define “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising broadly, Bayes Pharma provides a privacy control that blocks optional analytics unless you affirmatively allow it on the Bayes Pharma public site.
5. State privacy rights
Subject to eligibility, verification and statutory exceptions, applicable state laws may give you rights to:
- confirm whether we process your personal information and access it;
- correct inaccuracies;
- delete personal information;
- obtain a portable copy of certain information;
- opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or certain profiling where applicable;
- limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable;
- appeal a denial of a privacy request where the applicable state law provides an appeal right; and
- receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising a protected right.
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, residence and authority. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law.
6. California disclosures
If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to Bayes Pharma and your information, California residents may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising protected rights.
The categories we collect, sources, purposes and disclosures are described above and in the Global Privacy Policy. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 in a manner that requires opt-in consent.
Whether a particular California right applies depends on statutory scope, thresholds and exemptions. This notice is designed to provide the relevant mechanism without representing that every CCPA provision applies to every Bayes Pharma activity.
7. Global Privacy Control
Where a legally recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal applies, Bayes Pharma treats it as a request to block optional analytics for that browser unless you have made a contrary affirmative choice. Our public-site privacy control also lets you reject non-essential analytics directly.
8. Authorized agents and appeals
Where permitted by law, you may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and may separately verify your identity. If an applicable state law gives you a right to appeal a denied request, reply to our decision or email us with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line.
9. Exercise your rights
Use Privacy Choices for optional analytics and request instructions, or email info@bayespharma.com. Please state your US state, your relationship to Bayes Pharma and the right you want to exercise.
